The RCGP wishes to appoint a primary care clinician to the post of Executive Editor of InnovAiT.

This monthly journal first published in 2008 is aimed at doctors undergoing specialty training for general practice. InnovAiT covers the whole of the GP training curriculum and has grown to become the most valued source of information for trainee GPs.
The Editor will lead the development of InnovAiT, make editorial decisions on content, assess submitted manuscripts, oversee and work with the editorial board on the peer review of manuscripts, contribute content, suggest areas for improvement, ensure that the journal’s editorial policies are up to date, network and promote the journal more widely.

The ideal candidate will have a background in medical education for primary care, be knowledgeable of, and interested in, specialty GP training, have previous publishing and writing experience, and have the capacity to lead the editorial development of InnovAiT.
