The Lesbian & Gay Foundation, as part of its Pride in Practice project invites General Practitioners, Foundation Doctors and Trainee GPs to its FREE workshop on the health needs and inequalities of your lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) patients.
The workshop will cover:
- LGB Patient Health Inequalities
- Coming Out as LGB
- Sexual Orientation Monitoring
- LGB Mental Health & Wellbeing
- Cervical Screening for Lesbian & Bisexual Women
- Drugs and Alcohol Misuse
- LGB Support Services.

Pride in Practice is a benchmarking tool that identifies GP surgeries that are fully committed to assuring that their lesbian, gay and bisexual patients are treated fairly and able to discuss their issues openly with their GP or healthcare provider.
