Stonewall Talent Programme 2014
Category: GP - Other
Date: September 3rd 2014 until September 5th 2014
Location: London
A free programme supporting the development of a new generation of lesbian, gay and bisexual role models.
If you are aged 18-24, thinking about your future and wondering how sexual orientation relates to the workplace and your career aspirations, the Stonewall Talent Programme could be for you.
Stonewall and hundreds of employers across the UK know that people perform better when they can be themselves.
The Stonewall Talent Programme explores the idea of what it means to be yourself in the workplace in terms of sexual orientation, whilst giving you the space to reflect on your values and what you want from your future.
What to expect
Held over two days with a reunion six weeks later, the Stonewall Talent Programme inspires you to think about your impact on others as young LGB leaders and role models. Led by Stonewall facilitators, the programme creates a safe space for you to explore what it means to be lesbian, gay or bisexual in the workplace.
Who should apply?
We are keen to hear from applicants who are already thinking about their future careers, are already in the workplace or in education working towards a graduate position. Stonewall especially welcomes applications from those from black and minority ethnic backgrounds and people who consider themselves to have a disability.
