- Dyslexia
- Dyslexia is a common difficulty. In adult learners it may not be obvious, and many do not present with stereotypical symptoms. Dyslexia can impact performance in training and in Postgraduate exams.
- If you think you might have Dyslexia, please discuss your concerns with your local TPDs, Educational Supervisor or contact PSW. With early diagnosis, support can be put in place for both your daily work and your exams
- An initial screening test can give an indication whether or not you may have dyslexia. A formal diagnosis from an educational psychologist will take some time. Once you have a formal diagnosis, where deemed necessary a reasonable adjustment can be made for the exam for example, e.g. allowing you to have extra time
